Key Lime Oil, is a cold pressed essential oil, derived from dried lime peels  (sourced from Italy). The key lime oil has a dark green color and it's aroma is characterized as a sweet citrus aroma (of limes). Key lime oil (similar to lemon oil) can be used for industrial use as an active cleaning ingredient. Key lime is a verisital oil for aromatherapy as it blends well with many other essential oils.  Key Lime oil is photo-toxic. Photo-toxic substances render the skin susceptible to damage (such as sunburn or blisters) upon exposure to the sun or other sources of light, especially ultra-violet light. Do not use in sun care products.
